Technique & Social Practise Class

  • We run a monthly Technique & Practise class for all students. It’s a chance to improve technique and practise what you are learning in your weekly classes.

The first hour of class is Technique - which will focus on either practising a specific figure and breaking it down, or doing exercises to improve posture, frame, leg action, footwork etc. All exercises will be based on whatever we are learning in class.

The second hour is Social Practise - this is the time when the music plays non stop and the floor is yours to practise. Couples can choose to keep working on what they have been doing in the Technique Class or to practise other dance styles as well. This is also the time for a tea and biscuit break in the kitchen!

  • Each 1hr class costs £5 per person / £10 per couple.

People are welcome to come to either one class or both. But everyone is welcome to stay for a cup of tea / coffee and a biscuit!
